Antitussive therapy in acute respiratory diseases in children

Summary. The article presents information about the levelof effectiveness of the main groups of drugs used in treatmentregimens of acute respiratory infections in children. The trendto selection of herbal medicines in the treatment of infectiousdiseases of the respiratory tract, which manifest with acute andsubacute cough, is provided. Characteristics of herbal preparationsEucabal® Balsam and Eucabal® cough syrup are given.
